Sectors and points

The world is divided into sectors. Within a sector, players earn points to compete for the mayor title.

What a sector is

The entire world is split into huge sectors: each has roughly 117 thousand hexes. A sector is like a "city" with its own residents and mayor. You can find your sector by the icon in the top-left corner of the map.

Sector points

Points are awarded automatically for every captured hex. The current number of points is shown above the sector name in the top-left corner of the screen.

  • An empty captured hex — 1 point.
  • A hex with an ordinary building — 10 points.
  • An outpost — 50 points.
  • A propaganda tower — 200 points.

Propaganda towers

When a player reaches 10 points in a sector, neutral propaganda towers appear in it. The server usually tries to place up to seven towers: one closer to the sector center and the rest closer to the edges, but occupied places are not overwritten. Towers can be captured like ordinary neutral hexes. Capturing a tower brings 200 sector-rating points and helps in the fight for the mayor title.

Points and mayor

The player with the highest number of points in a sector becomes mayor. Read about the mayor election and weekly taxes in the article "Mayor and taxes".
